As part of an integral team, the Junior Dev Ops Engineer reports to the DevOps Team Lead.
The incumbent will assist the deployment and maintenance environments for multiple software projects.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and application environments primarily within AWS, including containerized and Kubernetes-based workloads.
Support and execute scheduled application deployments across Development, UAT and Production environments.
Work closely with Application Development teams to build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using GitHub/GitLab.
Support Docker containerization and Amazon EKS/Kubernetes deployments, including managing application images through Amazon ECR.
Assist with infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Troubleshoot build, pipeline, environment, Kubernetes and application deployment issues and support code releases across multiple environments.
Support and maintain AWS services including EKS, ECR, RDS, S3, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, Route 53 and Load Balancers.
Configure, monitor and maintain application and infrastructure monitoring using Amazon CloudWatch, Splunk and related observability tools.
Assist with application configuration, secrets management, IAM/access controls and AWS security best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
1–2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, or a related technical role.
Understanding and hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD technologies.
Experience working in an AWS environment, including CI/CD pipelines and core AWS services.
Experience with Docker and container-based technologies, with basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Git, GitHub and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
