Our challenge We are seeking a Senior / Lead Java Full Stack Developer to build scalable, secure applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, React, and Angular. The Lead will also provide technical guidance and mentor development teams. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Develop full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and Angular.Design and maintain scalable microservices.Build event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.Create responsive and reusable frontend components.Write clean, secure, and well-tested code.Participate in architecture, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical planning.Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.For Lead roles: mentor developers and provide technical leadership. Requirements: Strong Software development experience; Lead roles.Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.Proficiency in React and/or Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with SQL databases.Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.Strong understanding of software design, testing, security, and performance.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, Avro, Protobuf, or Schema Registry.Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT, MongoDB, or Cassandra.Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Redux, or RxJS.Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.Experience leading technical initiatives in an Agile environment.
