Description
At our Siemens R&D Center we are focused on product development including software development, hardware development, mechanical design, and testing for the next generation concept of Industry 4.0.
We would like to invite you to cooperate on the development of industrial automation products.
We are developing new and modern Webserver for PLCs S7-1200 and S7-1500.
Your task will be:
Develop single-page web applications with the Angular framework.
Work extensively with TypeScript (and occasionally JavaScript).
Collaborate with QA to ensure quality, using automated testing tools like Playwright.
Make effective use of AI tools (such as Copilot) to support development.
What we will appreciate from you:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent, or relevant professional experience.
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript; familiarity with Python is a plus.
Experience with Angular or motivation to learn it.
Experience with HTML/CSS, Node.js, RxJS, NgRx.
Comfortable using Git.
Comfortable working with Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, or similar systems.
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.Ability to communicate in English and understand written texts.Bonus: Experience with Python and automated testing.
Bonus: Experience with TIA Portal and programming PLC S7-1200 / S7-1500.
