Working as Grayce Consultants, you will be deployed to our client to join their Product Engineering team, as a “Pega” Software Engineer. Pega is a leading low-code application development platform used to build workflow automation and case-management solutions. The platform helps companies automate work, connect systems, and build smarter processes, allowing businesses to work faster, avoid mistakes, and deliver better experiences. This role presents a long-term career opportunity to join our client as full-time employees following completion of the Grayce Programme. What You'll Be Doing Gather requirements from senior stakeholders across all areas of the organisation to understand business needs and create user stories.Work effectively as part of agile project teams, engaging with Project Managers, Business Analysts, UX Designers, Testers and Product Owners to help scope out and deliver end-to-end projects.Create and manage case management applicationConfigure Pega application including case types, data models, UI screens, flows, data transforms, activities, and decision rules.Understand core Pega concepts - cases, stages, steps, data pages, data transforms, flows, and assignments.Learn Pega's rule resolution and class structure so you understand how rules are picked at runtime.Practice building case lifecycle workflows using stages and processes, including alternate stages and exception handling.Get hands-on with UI building blocks - sections, layouts, controls, dynamic UI, and harnesses.Learn how to integrate with external systems using Connect REST, Connect SOAP, and data pages as integration layers.Translate user stories into Pega case management configurationsPerform unit testing, ensuring compliance with Pega guardrails standards.Prepare rule-level design notesAssist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing Pega applications, including support for deployments and post-release checks.Engage in continuous learning through Pega Academy modules and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
