Description

Launch Recruitment is representing a well-established, mature software business delivering customer-facing systems on the lookout for a Senior Technical Services Consultant to help shape the next stage of their infrastructure and operations maturity. You'll sit at the intersection of hands-on technical operations and strategic change, contributing to infrastructure design, driving process improvement, and playing an active role in project discovery and uplift initiatives Responsibilities Include Managing and evolving Windows/Linux environments across AWS and Azure cloud (AWS expertise highly desirable)Overseeing Active Directory, Exchange, DNS/DHCP and file servicesWorking across network infrastructure, routers, firewalls, VPNs, TCP Managing relationships with internal and external IT service providersReporting on SLAs and operational metricsApproving production migrations and infrastructure changes into supportMentoring junior TechOps team members when requiredContributing to infrastructure design and discovery phases of enterprise projectsOn-call requirements once per month What you'll bring: Solid experience administering Windows/Linux environments and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure)Strong grounding in AD, Exchange, DNS/DHCP and file sharing servicesIn-depth network infrastructure knowledge A good working understanding of databases (DBA-level expertise not required)Proven experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar), with a track record of reducing manual effort and improving platform reliabilityAWS/Azure certifications - desirableA genuine appetite for process improvement and enterprise-level change managementSelf-motivation and the ability to work autonomouslyStrong communication skills are a non-negotiable This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than a "keep the lights on" role.
