Description

I'm hiring for a Forward Deployed Engineer role at a Series A hardware software company (backed by Craft Ventures, Emerson, and others). You'll embed directly with customers building rockets, eVTOLs, nuclear reactors, and autonomous vehicles, and ship full-stack code that runs on real factory floors. What you'll do: Deploy to customer sites and build custom software on top of a factory operations platformOwn database work: schema design, query optimization, data modelingFull-stack production code (React/TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL)Be the technical point person for customer engineering and ops teams What we're looking for: 3-5 years full-stack experience, backend/database leaningEither enterprise customer-facing software background (ERP, logistics, warehouse platforms) or experience at a manufacturing company (aerospace, defense, robotics)Strong communicator, comfortable building rapport with customersUS Citizen or Green Card holder required (ITAR compliance, no exceptions) Hybrid across SF, LA, and Austin depending on location.
