LeverageTek is actively seeking an Operational Coordinator (Azure Cloud Governance) for a 1-year term position with its Ottawa based customer.

Key Tasks
Monitor and track Azure cloud spending & budget utilization.Manage Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) requests, granting/revoking permissions securely.Assist IT teams in tracking service desk tickets, change management checklists, and release schedules.Track and fulfill provisioning requests for Azure resources (e.g., virtual machines, databases, storage).Enforce cloud governance, tagging policies, and security best practices defined by cloud architects.Maintain documentation regarding network environments, compliance reports, and operational procedures.Monitor compliance with operational policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements across Azure environments.Support capacity planning and service lifecycle activities, including resource tracking, renewals, and decommissioning efforts.Facilitate regular reviews of cloud subscriptions, resource usage, licenses, and service allocations to support governance and cost management objectives.Support audit activities by gathering operational records, access reviews, compliance evidence, and cloud governance documentation.Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through process optimization, automation, and enhanced reporting capabilities.
Key Qualifications
3+ Years with Azure services in IT operations, cloud administration, or administrative coordination.Azure Cost Management and FinOps Reporting.Cloud Service Provisioning.
