We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team in a full-time temporary role for a 10-month term.
This is a hybrid position, with 2 days per week onsite in Downtown Toronto
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into practical development solutions.Design, develop, configure, and maintain Salesforce applications and functionality.Write clean, maintainable code for small- to medium-sized development initiatives.Develop solutions using Salesforce and related technologies, including integrations with external systems.Create implementation, deployment, and rollback plans for system changes.Conduct unit testing and support system integration and user acceptance testing.Investigate defects, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through deployment and post-production support.Collaborate with IT teams, business partners, and other stakeholders to understand needs and communicate technical solutions and outcomes.Follow established development standards, architectural practices, and quality processes.Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance development practices, system performance, and overall solution quality.Document technical solutions, processes, and system changes to support consistency and ongoing maintenance.What You Bring
Approximately five years of professional experience in Salesforce development.Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is considered an asset.Experience working with OmniStudio, ServiceNow, JIRA, and Confluence.Salesforce certifications are preferred.Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.Strong experience designing, developing, configuring, and/or administering Salesforce solutions.Experience building and supporting integrations between Salesforce and external applications.Strong understanding of development patterns, scalable application design, and software development best practices.Experience supporting applications throughout the full software development lifecycle.Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
