Today, we provide the liquidity and infrastructure layer for alternative assets, enabling people to instantly buy, sell, trade, and redeem tokenized physical collectibles. Every asset is authenticated, securely stored with institutional vaulting partners, and represented through digital ownership. Phygitals powers both a global consumer marketplace and B2B infrastructure that enables brands, marketplaces, and institutions to launch their own collectible commerce experiences. We serve more than 200,000 users and have processed over $400 million in transaction volume. We are now preparing to power launches for several multibillion-dollar companies, creating the need for a senior product-minded frontend engineer to take ownership of the user experience across our platform. Our team is small, fast-moving, and composed of people with experience at Google, Citadel, and high-growth technology companies. Our long-term ambition is to become the infrastructure and operating system behind all forms of physical commerce. The Role We are looking for a Senior Frontend Product Engineer who combines excellent engineering ability with strong product judgment, design instincts, and a data-driven approach to growth. You will take significant ownership of the Phygitals product experience, from our consumer marketplace and mobile web experience to the dashboards and embedded products used by major B2B partners. This is not a role focused solely on implementing tickets or translating finished designs into code. You will help determine what we build, how it should work, and whether it is succeeding. You should be comfortable moving from an early idea to a polished production experience, then using analytics, experiments, and customer behavior to improve it. What You'll Do Own major frontend product surfaces across the Phygitals consumer marketplace and B2B platform.Design and build polished, responsive, high-performance user experiences.Work directly with the founders, designers, and backend engineers to turn business objectives into product solutions.Help shape product strategy, user flows, information architecture, and interaction design.Establish a disciplined experimentation process, including event tracking, funnel analysis, A/B testing, and post-launch evaluation.Use quantitative data and qualitative feedback to identify friction, improve conversion, and increase engagement and retention.Build and maintain reusable components and a consistent design system.Make thoughtful frontend architecture decisions that support performance, reliability, and rapid iteration.Monitor production performance, diagnose issues, and continuously improve the customer experience.Raise the standard for product quality across design, engineering, analytics, testing, and releases.Help define frontend engineering practices as the company and partner ecosystem scale. What We're Looking For Significant experience building and shipping high-quality consumer-facing web products.Deep proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture.Strong command of HTML, CSS, responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.A portfolio demonstrating polished, commercially successful products, not only technical demos.Excellent visual and interaction-design judgment, with a strong understanding of what makes a product feel intuitive and refined.Experience working with analytics platforms, product funnels, event instrumentation, and A/B testing.A track record of using experiments and data to improve conversion, engagement, retention, or revenue.Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and collaborating closely with backend engineers.Strong understanding of testing, debugging, Git workflows, performance optimization, and secure development practices.Comfort operating with autonomy in a small, fast-moving team with ambitious goals.The ability to balance speed with quality and make sound decisions when requirements are still evolving.Clear written and verbal communication. Nice to Have Experience building marketplaces, fintech products, consumer commerce platforms, or web3 applications.Experience with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, modern state-management tools, and frontend observability platforms.Experience owning a product or major product surface from concept through launch and optimization.Familiarity with payments, wallets, digital assets, inventory systems, or high-volume transactional products.Experience building embedded or white-label products for large enterprise partners.Experience working in an early-stage or founder-led company. A computer science degree is welcome but not required. Exceptional practical experience, a strong portfolio, and demonstrated product impact matter more to us than credentials.
