Senior Backend Engineer

About The Role As a Senior Engineer, you will take end-to-end ownership of designing and evolving backend services within our growing cloud ecosystem. You will translate product vision into robust, scalable architecture, lead technical decisions, and ensure our services are reliable, secure, and cost-effective. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure and frontend specialists to deliver valuable outcomes. Your mission Mentor the team adopt best practices and automated workflows. Design, develop, and maintain cloud applications using .NET in Azure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX/UI, QA, and product) to deliver high-quality software solutions, while proactively driving technical improvements. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.Lead and participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and raising the bar on quality.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues.Take ownership of non-functional requirements: cost, performance, reliability, and security.Acquire and share new knowledge in software and cloud technologies.Create monitoring and automated healing solutions to maintain reliabilityContribute to technical planning and support the team in breaking down and estimating work. Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)HBO level of work and thinking7–9+ years of experience in .NET development.Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core+, and related frameworks.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments (AKS or otherwise)Proficiency in working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and knowledge of Entity Framework or other ORM tools.Experience working as part of a development teamExperience with quality standards: Automated reviews, integration tests and static analysisComfortable taking technical ownership and coaching peers (informally or formally) Why us?
