Company QT Technologies Ireland Limited Job Area Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering General Summary About the Role We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale the LETUS (Lab Equipment Tracking & Utilization System) platform, which helps optimize the usage of high-value lab equipment across Qualcomm. You will develop modern web applications, backend services, APIs, and cloud-native solutions that provide visibility into equipment utilization, availability, and deployment. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong Python and React expertise who enjoys working across the full technology stack and leveraging AI-powered tools to improve engineering productivity and software quality. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable web applications using React and PythonBuild and maintain backend services, APIs, and data-driven applicationsDevelop responsive, user-friendly interfaces and dashboardsDesign and optimize SQL databases and data integrationsCollaborate with Product, DevOps, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutionsBuild and support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deploymentsLeverage Generative AI tools to accelerate development, testing, debugging, and documentationDrive best practices in software design, code quality, security, and maintainabilityMentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision making Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience in software developmentStrong programming skills in PythonStrong frontend development experience with ReactExperience building RESTful APIs and backend servicesExperience working with SQL databases such as SQL Server or MySQLFamiliarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practicesStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsAbility and curiosity about leveraging AI in day-to-day workUsing AI to continuously improve SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes Preferred Qualifications Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native applicationsExperience with Azure, AWS, or GCPExposure to Generative AI technologies, LLM APIs, Copilot, or AI-assisted development toolsExperience building data-intensive applications, dashboards, or analytics platformsFamiliarity with automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices Where you will be working Cork has a proud reputation as Ireland's second largest economic engine and is now one of the Top 20 location choices in Europe with 39,000 people being employed by over 170 overseas companies.
