We’re expanding our Zagreb Engineering Centre of Excellence with a new Suite team, focused on bringing together capabilities from across F24’s existing product portfolio and helping shape the next generation of our platform.
We’re looking for a Software Engineer with a backend focus who has solid commercial development experience and is ready to take the next step in their career within a collaborative, product-led engineering environment.

You’ll primarily work across Node.js and Python backend services, developing APIs and contributing to the ongoing modernisation of the Suite platform.

Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and PythonBuild and maintain REST APIs that integrate capabilities across F24 productsContribute to the design and implementation of new platform featuresWrite clean, maintainable and well-tested codeParticipate in code reviews and technical discussionsTroubleshoot issues and contribute to improvements across existing servicesWork closely with Frontend, Product, Design and QA throughout feature deliveryContribute to automated testing and CI/CD processesDevelop your understanding of scalable, secure and maintainable backend architectureTake increasing ownership of features from development through to production
What You'll Bring
Commercial software engineering experience with Node.jsExperience with NestJS, Express or FastifyExperience designing, building or consuming REST APIsGood understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScriptUnderstanding of backend development principles and clean coding practicesExperience working with databases and data-driven applicationsFamiliarity with Git and modern development workflowsUnderstanding of automated testingGood problem-solving and debugging skillsComfortable collaborating within a cross-functional engineering teamAn interest in developing your skills across architecture, cloud-native development and distributed systemsYou don’t need to know every technology in our stack.
