Full-Stack Engineer - AI-Assisted Development

Hey! YouHodler is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who has already made AI coding agents a natural part of their development workflow. ‍ You do more than ask AI to generate code. You know how to provide the right context, define clear tasks, review the result, and use agents across different stages of software development. ‍ You may already have your own instructions, conventions, or reusable workflows—or be actively developing them. Most importantly, you understand that AI accelerates engineering work but does not replace technical judgment or responsibility for the final result. ‍ You will work across our backend, web, and mobile applications and own features from requirement to production. And we are strengthening our product and engineering teams and are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who can deliver complete product features across different parts of our technology stack. ResponsibilitiesUse AI coding agents throughout the development process: discovery, planning, implementation, testing, review, documentation, and debuggingProvide agents with clear requirements, relevant context, technical constraints, and acceptance criteriaReview, understand, and verify AI-generated changes before they reach productionDevelop full-stack features across backend services, web applications, and mobile applicationsBuild and maintain APIs, business logic, database models, integrations, and user interfacesWrite maintainable code, automated tests, and technical documentationBuild scalable and reusable components shared across web and mobile applicationsWork with real-time and high-throughput data while maintaining performance across different devices and platformsInvestigate and resolve production issues across different parts of the stackImprove the codebase, development workflows, engineering practices, and the way the team works with AICollaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developersTake ownership of features from the initial requirement through deployment, monitoring, and further improvementRequirements3+ years of hands-on software development experienceExperience building and maintaining complex production applicationsExperience delivering complete customer-facing features across both frontend and backendAI-assisted development is already part of your normal engineering workflow, not something you are only beginning to exploreAbility to review, understand, debug, and take responsibility for AI-generated code.Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScriptStrong experience with React and preferably React NativeExperience building responsive interfaces and reusable components for web or mobile applicationsGood understanding of frontend architecture, state management, application performance, and user experienceExperience with Node.js and NestJS on the backendExperience with SQL, PostgreSQL, and TypeORMExperience designing and consuming REST APIsExperience working with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQUnderstanding of application architecture, performance, security, and maintainability across the full stackAbility to work across unfamiliar parts of a codebase and learn new technologies when requiredAttention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility for production qualityGood written and spoken English and SpanishNice to HaveExperience with automated testing, Git, Docker, and CI/CDExperience with gRPC, Grafana, and production observabilityExperience building web and mobile applications from a shared codebaseExperience with responsive interfaces, cross-platform development, and application performanceExperience with real-time or high-throughput data flowsExperience in fintech, banking, trading, investment products, or crypto is preferred.
