Azure DevOps / Platform Engineer £80k - £110k + bonus Hybrid WFH arrangement If you're a mid-level / senior engineer and have become tired of waiting for permission to make the calls you know are right, this could be the environment for you. I'm hiring for a small, high-trust platform team at a well-established, global financial services firm, that are building Azure infrastructure genuinely from scratch. The team explicitly wants someone who'll challenge the current setup, not just implement it and if you've got ideas that never made it past your last team's architecture review board, bring them here. Budget isn't the blocker. Good technology and technical decisions get approved, not debated for months. What you'll be doing: Designing, building and operating a secure, scalable Azure estateOwning CI/CD and IaC end-to-end using GitLab, Kubernetes, Helm and TerraformTaking full ownership of technical decisions, from design through to production and beyondBuilding observability and security in from day one What you'll need: Hands-on experience actually building an AKS cluster Strong, demonstrable Azure experience (3+ years as a minimum)Comfort with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred, but Bicep/ARM experience is fine too)The confidence to push back on a technical decision and back yourself when you're right Please apply or reach out if you'd like to discuss it further!
