AWS Engineer Experience: 2–7 Years Locations: Seattle, WA | Austin, TX | San Francisco, CA | Dallas, TX Salary: $105,000–$180,000 per year Employment Type: Full-Time About The Role We are seeking a skilled AWS Engineer to design, deploy, automate, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Linux, infrastructure automation, networking, and cloud operations. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS.Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based cloud environments.Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, and Lambda.Implement cloud security, access controls, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational processes.Monitor system performance, availability, reliability, and costs.Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and production issues.Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, security teams, and architects.Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation. Required Qualifications 2–7 years of professional Cloud/AWS engineering experience.Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.Understanding of AWS networking, IAM, security, and compute services.Experience with scripting using Python, Bash, or similar languages.Familiarity with Git and cloud automation practices.Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.Experience with AWS CloudFormation or CDK.Knowledge of serverless technologies and event-driven architectures.Experience with AWS monitoring and logging tools.Familiarity with DevSecOps and cloud security best practices.AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Administrator are a plus.
