Remote B2B Contract - Must be residing in Poland 170-200 PLN Per Hour Quick fire 3 stage process Overview We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS and GitLab to build, automate, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving platform reliability, deployment automation, security, and operational efficiency across cloud-based environments. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational processes.Manage and support core AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and RDS.Monitor platform performance, proactively identify issues, and improve reliability and availability.Implement security controls, backup strategies, and disaster recovery best practices.Troubleshoot production and non-production environments and provide root cause analysis.Collaborate closely with development, testing, and operations teams to support software delivery and release activities.Promote Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices across the engineering function.Required Skills & Experience Strong commercial experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.Hands-on expertise with AWS services and cloud-native architectures.Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD for build, deployment, and release automation.Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, or similar technologies.Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools including CloudWatch and related platforms.Good understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance principles.Experience supporting production environments in an agile delivery setting.Preferred Experience AWS certifications.Experience working within regulated environments such as financial services.Exposure to high-availability and mission-critical platforms.Experience implementing DevSecOps and security automation practices.What We're Looking For Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.A proactive mindset with a focus on automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
