About the role As a Trading Engineer, you are one of the most important players in our growing team. Developing and programming is something you absolutely love and we provide the perfect place to do it. You are a senior/medior developer with all the skills needed to continuously improve our platform and a strong focus on finance who has at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain and scale the backend of our trading platformImplementing new trading strategies in collaboration with the tradersIntegrating and connecting third-party APIsOperationally supporting traders What you bring: You have a MSc degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Econometrics4+ years of experience, of which at least 2 years of experience with RustExperience in building high throughput, low latency software applications Understanding of networking protocols: TCP/UDP Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databasesDeployment using CI/CD toolsA strong ownership and problem solving mindset Nice to have: Familiarity with concurrent programming and distributed systemsFamiliarity with Typescript and Node.jsA basic understanding of the linux kernel and its constraintsSystem level and compiler optimization techniquesKnowledge of FIX protocol
