Description

We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to support a financial services organization’s public-facing digital presence in Winston Salem, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract position offers the opportunity to lead complex Drupal development efforts, deliver new web experiences, and strengthen site performance, usability, and accessibility. The role is ideal for someone who can work independently, partner with both technical and business stakeholders, and contribute to both foundational builds and ongoing website improvements. Responsibilities: • Develop and launch new webpages and campaign landing pages within Drupal for the organization’s public website. • Create, refine, and expand Drupal templates, components, and reusable site elements to support evolving business needs. • Implement front-end updates involving layout, styling, navigation, and interactive behavior using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Diagnose and resolve website issues related to functionality, responsiveness, and cross-device performance across desktop, tablet, and mobile environments. • Configure and maintain Drupal settings, content structures, and site features to ensure reliable content delivery and administration. • Support integrations and API-related development tasks as needed to connect website features with internal or third-party systems. • Conduct thorough quality assurance testing and validate that updates meet accessibility, user experience, branding, and security expectations. • Coordinate with technical teams and non-technical partners to gather requirements, communicate progress, and deliver effective web solutions. • Manage deployments carefully, including restoring prior versions or reversing changes when necessary to maintain site stability. • 5+ years of web development experience, including recent hands-on work with Drupal 10 and/or Drupal 11. • Proven ability to build custom Drupal templates and extend or modify existing widgets, modules, and components. • Strong coding skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with the ability to produce clean, maintainable front-end solutions. • Demonstrated troubleshooting ability across website functionality, responsive design, and performance-related issues. • Experience supporting website maintenance, updates, and optimization for public-facing digital platforms. • Familiarity with accessibility standards, secure development practices, and user-centered web design principles. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining available for occasional business-hour collaboration. • Experience in financial services or similarly regulated environments is a plus.
