About the Company A leading Financial firm is seeking a technical passionate AZURE DevOps Platform Engineer to own and evolve the firm's cloud and infrastructure platform, while also serving as a key technical voice within the organization. This role goes beyond pure infrastructure execution — you'll be the bridge between engineering teams and the business, translating technical capability into practical recommendations and helping guide decisions on the tools, platforms, and technologies the firm adopts. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with the communication skill to explain complex tradeoffs clearly to both developers and non-technical stakeholders. About the Role This role involves owning and evolving the firm's cloud and infrastructure platform while serving as a key technical voice within the organization. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including provisioning, scaling, and cost managementAdminister and optimize Kubernetes environments supporting containerized application workloadsManage CI/CD pipelines and source control workflows using GitHubDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using TerraformSupport and collaborate on .NET application infrastructure and deployment needsServe as a trusted technical advisor to both development teams and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear, actionable guidanceEvaluate new tools, platforms, and technologies, and make informed recommendations on what the firm should adoptPartner cross-functionally to ensure infrastructure decisions align with both engineering best practices and business needsDrive automation and process improvement across the platform to increase reliability, security, and deployment velocityTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform issues across environments
