The solutions support tax compliance, customer account management, and investment services for pension and savings products. In this role, you will be responsible for building new features, enhancing existing systems, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations across multiple markets. Responsibilities You'll Have Design, develop, and maintain Java applications supporting savings and investment product Build and enhance calculation engines that ensure compliance with changing tax regulations across multiple countries Develop solutions supporting complex business processes, integrations with tax authorities, and client reporting Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment Collaborate closely with business and financial analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices Utilize AI-powered tools and automation to improve product quality, team productivity, and development efficiency Expected competences and knowledge Proven senior-level experience in backend Java development Strong knowledge of Java 21 Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem Solid understanding of Hibernate, object-oriented programming, and design patterns Experience working with relational databases and SQL, particularly PostgreSQL Knowledge of messaging technologies and communication protocols such as JMS, MQ, or similar solutions Experience designing and integrating APIs using OpenAPI and AsyncAPI Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.Strong analytical thinking and excellent collaboration skills Technologies you'll work with Java 21 Spring Boot Hibernate PostgreSQL / SQL JMS, MQ and Messaging Technologies OpenAPI, AsyncAPI Git CI/CD Client – why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio?
