About The Role We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Node.js Developer to join our in-office team in Victoria, BC. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated microservices architecture leveraging Node.js, Angular, and Kubernetes. Your expertise will be instrumental in building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that power our call routing, real-time bidding, data tracking, and payment processing systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical decision-making, and uphold best practices in software development. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of innovative technology applications, including AI-driven workflows, in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of professional development experience with a strong background in full-stack development. You should have expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and Angular frameworks. Experience with API design and RESTful services is essential, along with proficiency in database management, including MySQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, is required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent debugging and problem-solving skills, leadership abilities in project management, and a passion for continuous learning. Additional knowledge in AI agentic software development, open-source contributions, and CI/CD pipelines will be considered advantageous. Responsibilities Develop and maintain robust Node.js microservices focused on reliability, performance, scalability, and security.Create and update Angular frontend dashboards using TypeScript, ensuring seamless communication with backend APIs.Implement and optimize call routing, real-time bidding, data tracking, and billing/payment processing systems.Troubleshoot, test, monitor, and maintain core software components to ensure high reliability and performance.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define, design, document, and deploy new features.Conduct code reviews and enforce high coding standards to maintain code quality and consistency.Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in backend, frontend, and infrastructure domains to incorporate best practices.Lead projects and mentor junior developers to foster team growth and knowledge sharing.Design, own, and evolve AI-driven workflows that expand technological leverage and operational efficiency.
