Job Title: Senior Smart IQ .NET Developer Security Clearance: Must have Negative Vetting Level 1 Duration: Initial 12 months with 2 x 12-month extensions Industry: Information Technology Functional Expertise: Software Development Sub-functional Expertise: Smart IQ / .NET Development Location of work: ACT Working arrangements: Onsite – Canberra based, 5 days in the office Closing date: 9AM Wednesday, 9 September 2026 Description: Our client is seeking experienced Senior Smart IQ .NET Developers to support the ongoing sustainment, enhancement and delivery of critical ICT applications and priority initiatives. The roles require strong expertise in Smart IQ, Microsoft technologies, modern cloud platforms and full-stack application development. Successful candidates will develop and support enhancements and maintenance activities and provide shared, ongoing 24x7 on-call support. Candidates will need to effectively manage multiple high-priority work items simultaneously and demonstrate a strong record of development within agile teams. The roles require proactive developers who can adapt to rapid change and continuous improvement while delivering tangible business outcomes. Responsibilities: Develop and support application enhancements and maintenance activities.Provide shared, ongoing 24x7 on-call support, including after-hours, weekends and public holidays on an agreed roster basis.Undertake full-stack development using Smart IQ, Vue JS and .NET technologies.Manage multiple high-priority work items simultaneously.Contribute to business-as-usual sustainment activities and the delivery of strategic enhancements and projects.Work effectively within agile development teams and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.Apply Programming / Software Development (PROG) skills at SFIA Level 5.Apply Systems Design (DESN) skills at SFIA Level 5. Requirements: 5+ years of Smart IQ and .NET development experience.Strong expertise in Smart IQ and Microsoft technologies, modern cloud platforms and full-stack application development.Proven development experience within agile teams.Ability to work effectively in dynamic environments and manage multiple high-priority work items.Availability to provide after-hours on-call support, including weekends and public holidays, on a shared roster basis.Certification in Smart IQ or related technologies.Relevant Microsoft certifications.Relevant cloud platform certifications.Experience and knowledge in leading ICT technical teams may be an advantage. Desirable Criteria: Experience in providing technical assistance and end user troubleshooting.Extensive experience in configuring Smart IQ forms with the ability to build and modify custom objects, flows, permission sets, sharing and other related configuration and settings.Experience working in a government sensitive environment.
