About the Role CGM is seeking a senior-level **AI Software Engineer** to design, develop, and operate modern web applications across its SaaS portfolio. This role combines **full-stack software engineering, AI engineering, cloud-native development, DevOps, and agentic AI**. You will build AI-native product experiences using technologies such as LLMs, retrieval, tool use, structured workflows, and AI agents. You will work closely with Product Management, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and user-focused healthcare technology solutions. ## 3. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and operate modern web applications across CGM's SaaS portfolio. * Work across **frontend, backend, and DevOps layers** with end-to-end product responsibility. * Integrate AI-native features and agentic experiences into healthcare products. * Develop solutions using **LLMs, retrieval, tool use, and structured AI workflows**. * Design and operate cloud-native services with a focus on reliability, security, and developer productivity. * Build and continuously improve shared **AI agents, skills, pipelines, and test harnesses**. * Collaborate with Product Management, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams. * Establish and promote best practices for AI engineering and agentic applications. * Contribute to engineering quality and technical standards across the team. * Understand healthcare workflows and translate user needs into outcome-driven product features. * Support the development of AI-powered solutions that create meaningful value for healthcare professionals, practice teams, and patients. ## 4. Required Qualifications * Several years of senior-level experience developing modern **full-stack web applications**. * Strong expertise in at least one frontend technology such as **React or Angular**. * Strong backend experience with **Java/Spring Boot or Python**. * Bachelor's-level or higher technical education is implied by the provided requirements; the source specifically requests a **Master's degree or PhD** in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field with above-average academic performance. * Strong experience with modern software development and cloud/DevOps environments. * Practical experience with technologies including: * React / Angular * Java / Spring Boot * Python * C# * Kafka * Terraform * Kubernetes * Helm * ArgoCD * Demonstrated effective use of **AI in software engineering**. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Proactive, innovative approach to software development. * Excellent collaboration skills with Product Management and technical teams. * **Fluent German and fluent English**, both written and spoken. * Entrepreneurial and outcome-oriented mindset with an interest in healthcare technology. ## 5. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with **LLM technologies** and AI-native application development. * Experience with **Azure OpenAI** or **Anthropic SDK**. * Familiarity with **Model Context Protocol (MCP)**. * Practical experience with **Claude Code** or comparable agentic coding tools. * Experience developing **AI Agents, Skills, Workflows, Pipelines, and Harnesses**. * Experience with **Context Engineering**. * End-to-end ownership of software products in a SaaS environment. * Experience working with cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices. ## 6.
