Full Stack Java Engineer Duration: Contract Workload: Full time hours Setup: Freelance (Daily Rate / Limited Company / Umbrella / Sole Trader) Sponsorship: Not Provided Location: 2-3 days per week (Veldhoven) The client is looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Engineer to support and enhance a complex application platform hosting over 40 business-critical applications while helping modernise legacy systems into modern Java/Angular solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain full stack applications using Java and Angular technologies.Support the migration of legacy applications into modern, scalable solutions.Translate complex business requirements into maintainable technical implementations.Work across multiple applications within a large enterprise platform.Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Contribute to DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality initiatives.Troubleshoot, reverse engineer, and improve existing legacy solutions. Must-Have Skills: Java 11+ (ideally Java 17+) and Spring Boot.Angular 14+ (ideally Angular 18).Strong SQL expertise.RxJS and NgRX experience.Docker and Git.CI/CD and DevOps practices.Experience working within complex application landscapes.Stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.Agile/SAFe environment experience.Automated testing and code quality focus. Nice-to-Have: MySQL.PHP.GitLab.Jenkins or GitLab CI.Nx.Experience modernising legacy platforms.
