You will work at the forefront of modern automation practices, leveraging infrastructure-as-code, network-as-code, and AI-enabled tools to support a highly regulated financial environment. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should possess hands-on engineering experience with a strong automation mindset and a comprehensive understanding of enterprise networking. Candidates with experience in network automation within large-scale financial services or other regulated sectors will be preferred. Familiarity with AI-enabled tooling, Python or similar programming languages used in enterprise automation ecosystems, and container platforms such as OpenShift or Kubernetes will be advantageous. Additionally, you should demonstrate excellent analytical skills, stakeholder influence, and the ability to translate business strategies into technological solutions. Responsibilities As a DevOps Engineer in Network Automation, your core responsibilities will include developing and enhancing automation patterns, pipelines, and tools to support network and infrastructure services from conception through to operational support. You will collaborate closely with engineers, platform teams, and service owners to build reusable automation frameworks, improve delivery efficiency, and embed best practices in DevOps across the engineering lifecycle. Specific duties include: Designing, building, and maintaining network and infrastructure automation utilizing modern DevOps methodologies.Implementing automation through code-based CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools like GitLab to streamline deployment processes.Applying infrastructure-as-code and network-as-code principles to create repeatable, controlled, and auditable delivery workflows.Embedding security, compliance, and risk management controls into automation and pipeline designs to meet regulatory standards.Supporting automated change management, incident response, and operational workflows, including integration with ServiceNow where appropriate.Working with container orchestration platforms such as OpenShift or Kubernetes to support automation services and workloads.Exploring innovative AI-enabled tools and workflows to enhance operational efficiency, engineering productivity, and service reliability.
