Our partner is looking for a Web Developer based in United States.
As a Web Developer, you will help design and maintain digital platforms that support critical federal healthcare programs and their stakeholders.
You will work across SharePoint, Internet, and Intranet environments to deliver reliable, accessible, and user-focused web experiences.
The role combines hands-on development with website assessment, content management, governance, and continuous improvement.
You will ensure digital solutions meet Section 508 accessibility requirements, federal standards, and established style and security guidelines.
Your work will directly support staff, stakeholders, and Veterans by making important information easier to access and use.
You will collaborate within a structured government environment while contributing technical expertise to data-informed and mission-focused initiatives.

Accountabilities
Design, develop, modernize, and maintain SharePoint, Internet, and Intranet websites supporting program operations and stakeholder requirements.Assess existing websites and develop management plans, design templates, visual mockups, and improvement recommendations.Establish and maintain website user groups, permissions, and role-based access controls in accordance with applicable security and governance requirements.Develop website code and prepare digital content for publication while ensuring compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards, applicable style guidelines, copyright requirements, and release documentation.Monitor and report website performance across accessibility, quality assurance, usability, and search engine optimization dimensions, implementing improvements where appropriate.Support website governance and content management practices to maintain accurate, compliant, secure, and high-performing digital environments.Collaborate with program stakeholders to understand requirements and translate business and user needs into practical web solutions.Prepare comprehensive documentation, handoff materials, and knowledge-transfer sessions to support the transition of website maintenance responsibilities to Government personnel at the conclusion of the task order.Contribute to continuous improvement of web development processes, digital standards, and informatics-focused solutions.Support additional web development and program-related activities as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related discipline, with relevant professional experience considered as an alternative where applicable.At least 4 years of relevant web development experience involving the design, development, and maintenance of SharePoint and web-based platforms; a degree may be substituted with additional relevant experience according to the position requirements.Demonstrated proficiency with Section 508 accessibility standards, web content management practices, and development of compliant digital content aligned with established style guidelines.Prior experience supporting federal agencies, government programs, or healthcare clients is strongly preferred, with familiarity with federal web governance frameworks considered an advantage.Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Personal Identity Verification credential and successfully complete the required background investigation for system access.Strong attention to detail, self-direction, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work effectively within a structured federal contracting environment.Ability to develop accessible, reliable, and user-centered digital experiences while balancing technical, security, governance, and business requirements.Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and PowerApps for workflow automation and low-code application development is preferred.Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, SQL Server Management Studio, Azure Data Studio, TOAD, SSIS, and/or SSRS for data and reporting solutions is desirable.Python scripting experience for automation, data processing, or web-related activities is a plus.Experience supporting website transitions, knowledge transfer, documentation, and contract or task-order closeout activities is preferred.Familiarity with federal health informatics data standards and the role of web platforms in quality and data-driven reporting is an advantage.Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
