Position Summary
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team to build, automate, deploy, and maintain modern application and infrastructure platforms.
The successful candidate will work closely with software developers, infrastructure engineers, and security teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure service delivery through DevOps and GitOps practices.
This role is suitable for candidates with a software development background who are interested in cloud-native technologies, automation, and platform engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and support platform services using GitOps methodologiesDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deploymentsAutomate operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysisCollaborate with development teams to improve software delivery processesManage application deployments across development, testing, and production environmentsSupport containerized workloads and orchestration platformsImplement and maintain observability solutions including logging, metrics, and tracingParticipate in incident response, problem management, and continuous service improvementEnsure platform security, compliance, and configuration standards are followedProduce and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent disciplineMinimum 5 years of experience in software development or software engineeringStrong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and version control conceptsExperience with Git and collaborative development workflowsFamiliarity with Linux operating systems and command-line environmentsKnowledge of CI/CD concepts and automation practicesExperience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similarUnderstanding of REST APIs and basic networking concepts (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP)Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsGood communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environmentSelf-motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies
