We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help design, build, and continuously improve the data pipelines, models, and assets that underpin our data platform. We're looking for someone who can balance delivery pace with quality and resilience, collaborate effectively across technical and business teams, and help drive the evolution of our data platform and engineering capability. We offer an informal hybrid working model, with a minimum of 8 office days every 4 weeks. What you'll be doing: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformations that support reporting, operations, and analytics.Develop trusted, reusable datasets and data assets within the Frontline data platform.Implement and improve data engineering standards, controls, monitoring, and automation.Investigate and resolve data issues, pipeline failures, and performance bottlenecks.Work closely with business stakeholders, reporting teams, and Data Quality & Assurance Analysts to deliver effective data solutions.Support the ongoing development of the data platform while providing guidance and support to Data Engineers. What we're looking for: Strong SQL skills and experience building data pipelines and transformations.Experience working with Snowflake or a similar cloud-based data platform.Proven experience developing ETL/ELT processes within a production environment.Good understanding of data modelling, data structures, and pipeline design principles.Experience with workflow automation, scheduling, and monitoring.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across data systems.Understanding of data testing, reconciliation, and data quality controls.Strong scripting or programming experience, particularly Python.Experience with orchestration, transformation, and version control tooling.Ability to work independently while balancing delivery speed with resilience and maintainability.Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and business teams.SAS programming skills.
