Role: Senior Quality / Test Engineer – Cloud & Agile Location: Frankfurt am Main / Nearshore (Germany & EEA) Work Model: Remote, with occasional onsite meetings if required Contract: 1Year Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Quality / Test Engineer to support a cloud-based project within an Agile Release Train (ART). The role focuses on test strategy, cross-project test coordination, quality assurance, test automation, and modern testing practices. Mandatory Skills 5+ years of senior-level experience in developing and improving test strategies and test concepts in complex multi-system environments. 3+ years as a Test Manager / Lead QA, with experience leading at least 3 QA professionals. Proven experience implementing or improving modern test automation solutions, demonstrated through 2 project references. 3+ years of experience defining and using quality KPIs and metrics for test process optimization. Experience with AI-supported testing, such as AI-based test case generation, intelligent test prioritization or anomaly detection. Strong experience in manual, automated, load and performance testing. Experience with test data management across different cloud environments/stages. Strong experience in cloud-based and complex application landscapes. Nice to Have ISTQB Test Manager (CTAL-TM) or equivalent certification. Experience with SAFe, Scrum or Kanban. Experience with Jira/Xray, Playwright, Selenium or Karate. API testing experience with Postman, Swagger UI or similar tools. Experience in Transport & Logistics or another regulated industry. Knowledge of Microservices / Event-Driven Architecture and their impact on testability.
