We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer who understands that great data engineering is about building reliable, scalable data products, not simply moving data from A to B.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable data products and pipelinesOwn solutions from requirements gathering through to deployment and monitoringDevelop cloud-native data platforms using modern engineering practicesImprove platform performance, resilience, security, and cost efficiencyImplement data quality, observability, and governance controlsCollaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutionsContribute to CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and automation initiativesMentor engineers and champion data engineering best practice
Requirements
Strong software engineering fundamentals including Python, Scala or Java, SQL, Git, testing, APIs, and CI/CDExperience building modern cloud-based data platforms within AWS, Azure, or GCPStrong knowledge of technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Kafka, dbt, Airflow, or Azure Data FactoryExperience designing and delivering end-to-end data engineering solutionsUnderstanding of distributed computing, data partitioning, optimisation, and large-scale data processingProduction mindset with experience in monitoring, security, data quality, resilience, and operational supportAbility to balance technical excellence with pragmatic decision-making
