Job Description
Perform fluid flow analyses using ANSYS FLUENTPerform buoyancy analyses using Rhino/OrcaPerform structural analyses using NX NASTRAN and/or Altair suite of FEA toolsPerform fatigue analyses using Glyphworks/NCodeResearch new CAE areas, products and methodologies and implement them in GDLS-C common proceduresPerform test data analyses and simulation validationsWork in small temporary project teams with other engineers and provide an ongoing CAE supportBuild and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers

Required Qualifications
University degree in Engineering3 to 5 years of related experience in CAE field, preferably in automotive, defense or aerospace industryKnowledge of CAE software applications for FEA, CFD and fatigue analysesKnowledge of automotive subsystemsKnowledge of stress analyses, mechanics, dynamics and mathematicsDemonstrated written and oral communication skillsSuperior organizational skills with the ability to be agile, set priorities and multi-task under pressureSelf-motivated and effective working in a team-oriented environmentAbility to travel (10% Canadian, 5% US & International) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport

Advanced University degreeFamiliar with NX NASTRAN, Altair suite of FEA tools, ADAMS, MATLABExperience with heavy off road vehicles engineeringExperience dealing with defense design standardsProfessional Engineer (PEO) or eligible to become P.Eng.
