Description

About AxlFlo AxlFlo is a technology and services company focused on helping enterprises move from AI experimentation to practical, production-ready solutions. We build products, accelerators, and AI-enabled workflows that address real operational problems, with a focus on enterprise applications, workflow automation, governance, and human-in-the-loop systems. Our approach is simple: identify problems that matter, build quickly, test with real users, and continuously improve what gets deployed. About the Role We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern – AI Applications to join the team working on DISHA, an AI-enabled application being developed at AxlFlo. DISHA is an AI-enabled guided learning and assessment platform designed to create personalized, structured journeys that help users build knowledge, apply it, and demonstrate readiness through practical assessment. This is a hands-on engineering internship. You will work on an existing product and contribute to building and improving features across the application. You may work across frontend, backend, APIs, data, and AI-assisted functionality depending on the area being developed. You will get exposure to how an early-stage product moves from requirements and prototypes into a usable, production-oriented application. What You’ll Work On * Develop and enhance features within the DISHA application. * Work across frontend, backend, APIs, and application workflows. * Integrate AI and LLM capabilities where appropriate. * Translate product requirements and technical designs into working software. * Debug issues, test functionality, and improve application reliability. * Work with databases, authentication, configuration, and cloud services. * Use Git/GitHub for source control and collaborative development. * Participate in product discussions and contribute ideas to improve features and user experience. * Document your work so that what you build can be maintained and extended by others. Qualifications We are looking primarily for strong fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to build, rather than prior corporate experience. * Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. * Good understanding of programming fundamentals and software development concepts. * Hands-on experience with at least one modern programming language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar. * Familiarity with web application development and REST APIs. * Basic understanding of databases and data structures. * Familiarity with Git/GitHub or another source-control system. * Interest in AI applications, LLMs, agents, or AI-assisted software development. * Ability and willingness to understand and work with an existing codebase. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently investigate issues. * Good communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively. Experience with React, Node.js, Python, Azure, Firebase, APIs, or LLM platforms is useful but not mandatory. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who enjoys building things that actually get used.
