Join an engineering team working at the intersection of software and design to create polished, accessible web experiences. You will translate design handoffs into production interfaces, manage frontend state and performance, integrate APIs, develop backend services, handle authentication, and support deployment infrastructure.

Highlights

Build high-fidelity, responsive, accessible interfaces while owning the full path from design implementation through APIs, backend services, authentication, and deployment infrastructure.

Description

Position Overview: This role sits between engineering and design to build production interfaces with high visual fidelity, responsive behavior, and accessible markup. Focusing on frontend, you will own the full path from component to live URL—integrating APIs, writing necessary backend code, and maintaining deployment infrastructure to ensure seamless product experiences. Job Responsibilities: 1. Frontend Engineering & Visual Fidelity - Build production interfaces from design handoffs with high visual fidelity, responsive behavior, and accessible markup. - Translate Figma designs into precise code, working with design tokens, type scales, spacing systems, and component thinking. - Ensure strong frontend performance and state management across modern web frameworks. 2. Full-Stack API & Service Development - Own the full path from component to live URL: API integration, state management, and authentication. - Build and maintain backend services and APIs (using Node.js, Python, or Go) where products need them. - Consume REST and GraphQL APIs to support product features. 3. Deployment & Infrastructure Operations - Set up and maintain deployment infrastructure: CI/CD, staging and production environments, monitoring, and rollback. - Manage Git workflows, Docker containers, cloud services (Vercel/AWS/GCP), DNS, and environment secrets. 4. Design Collaboration & Prototyping - Co-own a coded design system with the design team, including tokens, components, documentation, and versioning. - Sit with UI/UX designers early to provide feasibility and effort feedback before designs are locked. - Translate design intent into technical constraints, and translate technical constraints back into actionable options for designers. - Build internal tooling and prototyping environments that let designers test ideas without waiting on engineering.
