Shireburn is looking for a talented Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, consistent, and user-centric experiences across our core products, Indigo People and Indigo Business. You will sit at the intersection of business goals and user needs, working in closely with Product Owners, Developers, and QA Engineers. We are looking for a pragmatic designer who prioritises functional, best-practice design over complexity. A core part the teams mission is to champion design reusability, ensuring that our web and mobile platforms remain in perfect sync through a unified, scalable design system. Key Responsibilities End-to-End Design: Conceptualise and deliver user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and final UI for both web and mobile platforms.Collaborative Strategy: Partner with Product Owners to clarify complex requirements, shape seamless user journeys, and validate concepts through client feedback and testing.Design System Evolution: Under the guidance of our Product Design Manager and Senior Product Designer you will contribute to and maintain a scalable design system, ensuring accessibility and consistency across all products.Developer Handover: Support our engineering teams by providing clear specifications and comprehensive design documentation to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.Standardised Design: Utilise established UI Patterns and industry best practices to create factual, high-utitility designs that reduce user friction and cognitive load.System Thinking: Contribute and maintain a library of reusable components to ensure a seamless, “single source of truth” experience across all Indigo Platforms.Simplification: Translate complex business requirements into clean, straightforward interfaces that solve problems without necessary decoration.Quality Advocacy: Take an active part in design critiques giving and receiving constructive feedback to help elevate the team's output and standards.Visual & Interaction Expertise: A strong eye for layout, typography, and colour, paired with a deep understanding of how users interact with digital products.Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Figma for both UI design and interactive prototyping.User-Centric Mindset: A solid grasp of usability, web accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design principles.Pragmatic Problem Solver: The ability to balance ambitious user needs with technical feasibility and commercial requirements.Communication: Highly collaborative with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to stakeholders across different disciplines.Experience: Previous experience in a B2B or SaaS environment is highly desirable. Requirements 3+ Years in Product Design: Proven experience shipping digital products, ideally in B2B and SaaS environments.UX Mastery & Logic: A deep understanding of UX principles and the ability to map out complex end-to-end flows. You don't just design screens; you design logic.Problem Solving: The ability to take a "messy" business problem and provide a structured, clear design solution.Design for Scale: Experience designing responsive systems that work seamlessly across web and mobile platforms.Prototyping: Proficiency in creating interactive prototypes (Figma) to test ideas and communicate motion and functionality to developers.Communication & Ownership: You can articulate the why behind your pixels. You should be comfortable defending design decisions to stakeholders while remaining open to constructive feedback.Self-Starter Mentality: The ability to take a project from a brief to a final hand-off with minimal hand-holding.Strong Portfolio: Showcasing SaaS and B2B work, specifically highlighting your design thinking methods, technical documentation, and how you organise your design files.
