The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV), a 50/50 partnership between CPB Contractors and Downer, is delivering a landmark $1.7 billion Defence infrastructure program across regional New South Wales.
Spanning RAAF Base Wagga, Blamey Barracks Kapooka, and Albury Wodonga Military Area, this transformational project will create world-class facilities and critical infrastructure that will support Defence operations for generations to come.

About The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll contribute to the successful delivery of construction activities from planning through to completion.
Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders, you'll help ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Include
Coordinating and managing assigned work packagesPlanning and programming construction activitiesReviewing drawings, specifications, and construction methodologiesMonitoring project progress, productivity, costs, and quality outcomesManaging subcontractor performance and site interfacesResolving engineering and technical challengesSupporting project reporting and documentationEnsuring compliance with project standards and contractual requirementsPromoting and contributing to a strong Zero Harm culture
About You
We're looking for motivated Project Engineers who thrive in dynamic project environments and enjoy working collaboratively to deliver outstanding outcomes.
You'll Ideally Bring
Degree qualification in Engineering5-8 years of experience within building, infrastructure, or major construction projectsExperience delivering commercial, residential, education, healthcare, accommodation, Defence, or institutional projectsExposure to areas such as fitout, facades, piling, precast, roofing, services, infrastructure, or commissioning worksStrong understanding of project delivery, planning, and subcontractor managementExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive and solutions-focused approachAustralian Citizenship or Permanent Residency with the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
