Description

Role Description This full-time hybrid Java Angular Developer role is based in Brussels, with flexibility to work from home part of the time. The developer will design, build, and maintain web applications using Java on the back end and Angular on the front end. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing responsive user interfaces, developing secure and scalable APIs, writing clean and testable code, and integrating front-end and back-end components. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of the development process and architecture. Qualifications Strong front-end development skills, including Angular and JavaScript.Experience with back-end web development and Java-based frameworks.Solid software development fundamentals, including object-oriented programming and design patterns.Knowledge of state management tools such as Redux.js or similar libraries.Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration between front-end and back-end services.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and basic web security principles.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, communicate clearly, and collaborate within diverse teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with Agile methodologies and unit/integration testing frameworks is an advantage.
