Department Overview The Rave organization within Motorola Solutions is responsible for SaaS products supporting the safety mission of public and private entities. We help our customers engage with responders, households, schools, businesses, employees, students and other stakeholders to deliver critical communications, coordinate response, and exchange life-saving information. The solutions we create apply exciting technologies such as geospatial visualization and analytics, high throughput communications, artificial intelligence, and numerous integrations with Motorola and partner systems. As a team member within the Rave organization, you will be exposed to many other solutions offered by Motorola Solutions, the most trusted name in public safety Job Description We’re looking for a highly skilled AWS DevOps Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in IaC (Terraform), Helm, MySQL, Kubernetes, and CI/CD Pipelines. You will play a key role in building, maintaining, securing and deploying scalable cloud infrastructure and systems. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructureAutomate deployment, scaling and monitoring of systems on that infrastructureCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelinesBuild and manage containerized applicationsProvision and support configuration of relational databases with an emphasis on high availability, security and reliabilityMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliabilityContribute to the creation and operation of robust disaster recovery and backup strategiesManage developer toolingEnsure compliance with regulatory, compliance and security frameworks(Optionally) develop and support full stack Java-based applications Required Skills Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen. This requirement is due to specific U.S. Government Contract Mandates and access to sensitive public safety data.Experience with containers and container orchestration tooling (Kubernetes / Helm / Docker)Experience designing and deploying solutions to cloud environments (AWS)Experience with IaC tooling (Terraform or similar)Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub, BitBucket, Azure DevOps)Experience with DVCS tooling (Git, GitHub, BitBucket, Azure DevOps)Experience with RDBMS systems including managing schema evolution, migration, replication and disaster recovery (MySQL or similar)Experience with Linux including scripting (Bash) Preferred Skills Experience with AI/machine learning technologies is strongly preferred.Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting tools (WireShark, TCPDump, SNGrep, nslookup)Awareness of compliance frameworks (e.g. FedRAMP, CCCS)Experience with SIP/RTPExperience with developer tooling (Artifactory, Sonar, Gradle)Familiarity with observability tooling (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK Stack or similar)Knowledge of secure coding practices, security frameworks, and tooling (e.g., OWASP, NIST, CIS, Prisma Cloud/Twistlock, Mend/WhiteSource) Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesSelf-motivated with a passion for continuous learningAbility to take ownership of problems and deliver complete solutions Target Base Salary Range: $140,000 USD - $170,000 USD Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
