Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and maintenance of software solutions for our Tier 1 financial clients.Support activities across the software development lifecycle, including design, development, maintenance, and quality assurance.Work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other internal teams to understand and help implement client requirements.Stay curious about emerging trends and advancements in web applications and programming languages.Complete assigned tasks with attention to quality and timeliness.Work both independently and as part of diverse, cross-functional teams.Adapt to evolving project priorities with a positive attitude.Collaborate effectively with various teams within the RS2 organization.Contribute to a positive and inclusive multicultural work environment.Be open to taking on new responsibilities and learning opportunities as they arise.
Qualifications
A degree in ICT or a related professional qualification, or equivalent practical experience.1–2 years of professional software development experience (or relevant internship/academic project experience for junior candidates).
Required Skills
Working knowledge of Git, Maven, Jenkins, XML, JSON, and JQuery.Exposure to or willingness to learn microservices architecture.Experience with Java, Spring Framework, RESTful web services, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS, and Vue.js (or similar JavaScript frameworks).Basic understanding of User Experience (UX) principles.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve straightforward technical and browser-specific issues, with support from senior team members.Understanding of relational database management systems, with exposure to Oracle preferred.A commitment to good software programming practices and unit testing.Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
