About The Role As an Infrastrcture Engineer, you will design, build, and support secure end-to-end mobility and communication solutions for customer and internal projects. You'll work on a mix of infrastructure, cloud, and automation technologies, supporting the full lifecycle from deployment to Level 3 support. Typical Duties Include Installing, configuring, and administering Linux-based infrastructure (Ubuntu/RHEL) and virtualised environments (vSphere, vCenter).Writing Ansible playbooks and using IaC tools to automate deployment of infrastructure and cloud services.Managing secure AWS cloud environments and supporting cross domain solutions.Creating and maintaining system architecture documentation and ensuring environments meet CIS security standards.Diagnosing and resolving complex system issues in collaboration with support teams.Supporting and maintaining infrastructure in secure and air-gapped environments.Researching and integrating new technologies to enhance system performance and security. Skills and Experience Advanced Linux system administration with practical experience in scripting (e.g. Bash, Python) and automation using Ansible.Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP), PKI/certificate management, and virtualisation (VMware).Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS) and containerised environments (Docker).Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK) and version control systems.Working knowledge of cross domain solutions and operating within secure, air-gapped environments.Solid grasp of CI/CD principles and infrastructure as code in secure environments.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with a customer-focused mindset.
