Role: AWS Cloud Engineer Location: Scarborough, Ontario Cognizant is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer for a full- time opportunity. Qualified candidates must have valid work authorization for Canada. In This Role, You Will Participate in and drive Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new cloud and GenAI services such as Amazon Bedrock, Agentcore, and related AWS capabilities.Conduct service evaluations and technical feasibility assessments.Analyze and troubleshoot platform and application issues using Amazon CloudWatch logs, metrics, and monitoring tools.Investigate service failures, identify root causes, and recommend remediation strategies to improve platform reliability and operational excellence. What You Need To Succeed Experience working with and extending enterprise CDK frameworks, including understanding and leveraging client specific CDK wrappers built on top of native AWS CDK constructs. Ability to design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure and platform services using Infrastructure as Code principles. We are offering an annual compensation between $115,000-$122,000.
