Description
Profectus is seeking experienced Senior ServiceNow Developers to support the delivery and ongoing improvement of ServiceNow capability within an Australian Government agency.
You will lead design and build activity across the platform, working directly with business owners and technical teams to turn requirements into working, well governed solutions.
The work covers configuration, integration, automation and reporting across the platform, with a current focus on extending capability into governance, risk and compliance.
You will also help lift platform standards, favouring out of the box functionality over customisation and documenting solutions so they can be supported long term.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end to end design, configuration, implementation and optimisation of ServiceNow solutions across the platformDevelop workflows, data models, integrations, dashboards, reporting and automation that meet agreed business outcomesContribute to the design and rollout of the ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) product, aligned to the agency's governance, risk, compliance and assurance objectivesEngage with business stakeholders, process owners and technical teams to gather requirements and define target operating modelsProvide technical leadership and best practice advice, including guidance on adopting ServiceNow products out of the boxBuild and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other agency systemsProduce and maintain solution design documents, operating procedures and knowledge transfer materialApply ServiceNow development standards, including code review, testing and release management practicesSupport transition and knowledge transfer to internal agency support teamsTroubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues, working with vendors where required
Required Experience
Demonstrated experience developing, configuring and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations using recognised standards and best practiceHolds a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certificationHolds one or more ServiceNow Mainline Certifications at Implementation Specialist level in IT Service Management, Customer Service Management, or Data Foundations (CMDB/SDM)Proven delivery of ServiceNow outcomes in large and complex organisationsExperience working with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise that meets business needsWell developed communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information in plain English and influence decisionsExperience producing solution documentation and supporting handover to internal support teamsAbility to work independently and as part of a delivery team across distributed locations
Desirable Experience
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Risk and Compliance (CIS-RC), or an equivalent current ServiceNow IRM certificationExperience leading the implementation and delivery of ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions in large and complex organisationsExperience delivering ServiceNow capability within Australian Government or similarly regulated environmentsExposure to governance, risk, compliance and assurance processes and how they translate into platform designExperience with Agile delivery and CI/CD practices on the ServiceNow platform
