Role Description This is a full-time, on-site DevOps Engineer role based in Sydney, NSW.
The DevOps Engineer will design, build, and maintain automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support FlowLogic’s cloud-based software platform.
Responsibilities include implementing Infrastructure as Code, managing CI workflows, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting production issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
The role involves close collaboration with software development and operations teams to improve release processes, enhance observability, and streamline incident response.
The DevOps Engineer will also contribute to security best practices, environment standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement of development and delivery workflows.
Qualifications
Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, with experience using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.Proficiency in Software Development practices, including scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Go, or similar) to automate workflows.Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines and tools (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for build, test, and deployment automation.Solid System Administration skills, including server configuration, networking fundamentals, and performance monitoring.Advanced Linux skills, including shell scripting, process management, security hardening, and troubleshooting in production environments.Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).Knowledge of security best practices, monitoring and logging tools, and backup and recovery strategies.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and work independently in an on-site environment.Previous experience in healthcare, SaaS, or highly regulated environments is beneficial.
