POSITION SUMMARY
Molt AI Corp.
is seeking a Junior Software & AI Engineer to join our engineering team.
This early-career engineering role is for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, strong technical fundamentals, and an interest in developing expertise in agentic software engineering and security.
The successful candidate will contribute to production engineering and research using agentic tool harnesses, apply cybersecurity principles across systems and infrastructure, and receive hands-on training and mentorship from senior engineering staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, build, and improve systems for agentic security testing, including vulnerability discovery, validation, and remediationApply sound cybersecurity principles to software, agents, networking, authentication, permissions, and infrastructureUtilize practical knowledge of IP networking, ports, sockets, protocols, and distributed systems to build and troubleshoot production systemsImprove software engineering practices for reliability, security, testing, and predictable agent-assisted developmentWork across Linux systems, backend services, APIs, databases, frontend applications, and infrastructureInvestigate system failures, identify root causes, and translate findings into improved tools and engineering practicesParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering planningReceive hands-on training, technical coaching, and direct mentorship while contributing to production engineering
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related fieldUnderstanding of operating systems, Linux, and the Linux command lineFamiliarity with IP, ports, TCP/UDP, sockets, and client/server networkingFull-stack development experience across frontend and backend systemsFamiliarity with Git and GitHubUnderstanding of machine learning, neural networks, and modern large language model systems
