About the Opportunity The Software Developer 3 designs, develops, troubleshoots, and tests software applications within an established architecture. This role contributes to the enhancement of existing software, development of scalable services, and identification of architectural improvements that strengthen application performance, reliability, and maintainability. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and test software applications and operating systems according to established design specifications. • Apply software architecture principles to develop enhancements and recommend improvements. • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues. • Develop and maintain web services and RESTful APIs. • Build and support containerized applications using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Use Linux environments and scripting languages for software development, automation, and troubleshooting. • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement reliable distributed software solutions. • Apply appropriate data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems concepts to technical challenges. • Contribute to software quality through testing, code reviews, and development best practices. Requirements • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. • At least 3 years of experience in software development or a related occupation. • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python. • Experience developing web applications, RESTful APIs, and web services. • Knowledge of containerized applications and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes. • Familiarity with Linux and scripting for development and automation. • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems. • Knowledge of NoSQL and graph databases and distributed persistence technologies such as Kafka. • Understanding of caching strategies and scalable data architectures. • Experience developing cloud infrastructure services involving compute, storage, networking, and monitoring. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Pay Range and Compensation Package • The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
