The Opportunity
Our client is building the financial infrastructure layer for construction, a $12T global industry still powered by fragmented, legacy software.
Fresh off a $15M Series A led by Accel, with $20M+ in total funding, the company is profitable, cash-flow positive, and serving 550+ customers.
They’re hiring a high-ownership Full-Stack / Backend Engineer who enjoys simplifying complex systems, building 0→1 products, and solving hard infrastructure problems.
What You’ll Work On
Unify dozens of fragmented construction systems behind one clean API and data modelBuild integrations with legacy and on-prem systems that may have limited APIs or documentationScale a platform handling millions of API requests per dayImprove performance, caching, reliability, testing, and observabilityBuild customer-facing products that run on top of the company’s own APIsShip production code quickly and work directly with customers and founders
What We’re Looking For
Roughly 1–10 years of software engineering experienceStrong backend or full-stack engineering abilityFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWSStrong systems thinking and comfort with ambiguityHigh ownership, low ego, and a bias toward shippingExceptional new grads with strong internships, co-ops, or projects may be considered
Prior experience with construction tech, B2B SaaS, APIs, or the exact stack is not required.
