Description
We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer for our Garden City office to become an integral member of our exciting SaaS team.
You’ll build and maintain front-end and back-end systems with database and 3rd-party API integrations and robust transactional capabilities.
Your Responsibilities:
* Build secure, transactional web portals using HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and PHP.
* Design and write SQL queries, joins, and schema changes without relying on a query builder to cover for gaps in understanding.
* Integrate databases, back end systems, and third party APIs.
* Write clean, secure, efficient code and follow current best practices for input validation, authentication, and data handling.
* Debug and troubleshoot using a structured process: reproduce the issue, isolate the issue causing it, form a hypothesis, test it, and confirm the fix before closing it out.
*Communicate clearly with teammates in writing and documenting your work so others can pick it up.
* Deploy and monitor services in production.
* Collaborate with senior developers on our proprietary SaaS products.
What You Bring:
* Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and responsive design for front end development.
* Two years of PHP and SQL experience for back end, database, and API work.
* A genuine, hands on understanding of your own code.
You should be able to write, explain, and fix it yourself, without depending on AI writing assistants to generate or debug it for you.
* An understanding of secure coding practices, not just working code.
* Comfortable debugging methodically rather than relying on trial and error.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
