Lead Software Developer

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Software Developer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead the design and development of scalable software solutions across both backend and frontend components, with a strong focus on building reliable, user-centric applications. The position also plays a key role in architectural discussions, database optimization, and cloud deployment while partnering with cross-functional teams to support delivery across the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with modern full-stack technologies, testing practices, and cloud-native environments, helping drive performance, maintainability, and technical excellence in a fast-paced environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually Responsibilities Lead design and development of scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI Develop engaging user interfaces with ReactJS for user-centric experiences Design and optimize database schemas and queries for PostgreSQL Implement unit and integration tests using Pytest and Vitest, applying TDD principles Participate in architectural discussions and evaluate design patterns for cloud-native applications Deploy and troubleshoot applications in GCP environments, understanding multi-cloud principles Contribute to all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering and performance optimization Qualifications 5+ years of full-stack or backend software development experience Expert proficiency in Python, specifically using FastAPI Strong experience with ReactJS for frontend development Deep expertise in PostgreSQL, including design and optimization Experience with testing frameworks like Pytest and Vitest Practical experience with cloud platforms, primarily GCP; familiarity with AWS is a plus Knowledge of software development lifecycle principles, including agile methodologies Benefits Join a fast-growing AI-first digital transformation company Lead in a dynamic team of highly talented individuals Work with Fortune 500 companies and market disruptors Gain exposure to cutting-edge technology in AI, machine learning, and cloud Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
