Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Manulife's Experience Office is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to help design, build, and enhance innovative solutions that deliver exceptional customer and partner experiences. As part of a fast-paced Agile team, you will work across the full software development lifecycle, creating scalable applications, APIs, and data solutions while driving continuous improvement and technical excellence. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack business applications.Build and maintain scalable APIs, web applications, and data solutions.Translate business requirements into technical solutions.Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and estimation activities.Promote engineering best practices, code quality, automation, and CI/CD.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions.Perform technical investigations and proof-of-concepts to mitigate risks.Mentor and coach team members while contributing to a high-performing engineering culture.Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and support materials. Required Qualifications 7+ years of software development experience.Strong expertise in C#/.NET development, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.Advanced SQL Server experience, including complex queries, joins, stored procedures, and relational database design.Experience developing with REST APIs, Web API, MVC, and modern web frameworks such as React or Angular.Knowledge of cloud-native development using Azure and/or PCF.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum practices, and automated testing.Experience in Banking, Financial Services or InsuranceStrong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience with .NET Core, Python, or Java Spring Boot.Knowledge of Airflow, CA WA, ETL processes, and Informatica.Experience with Power BI, Spotfire, Datawatch, or other visualization tools.Exposure to streaming technologies such as Tibco StreamBase. principles, market practices, and regulatory requirements. Referenced Salary Location Toronto, Ontario Working Arrangement Hybrid Salary range is expected to be between $113,000.00 CAD - $163,000.00 CAD Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
