About The Role We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with expertise in Golang to join our dynamic development team. This role is based in McLean, VA, with a hybrid work model that combines remote work with on-site collaboration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services, APIs, and microservices that are scalable, reliable, and secure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, DevOps, and QA to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in backend development with a strong command of Python and Golang.Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.Knowledge of database systems including SQL and NoSQL databases.Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and monitoring.Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Golang, adhering to best coding practices and clean architecture principles.Create high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring optimal reliability, security, and low latency.Collaborate with product teams, DevOps, QA, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.Optimize application performance by refining algorithms, managing concurrency, and improving memory usage, especially within Golang-based services.Implement data processing, automation, and backend logic utilizing Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.Integrate backend services with databases, message queues, and third-party APIs for seamless data flow and communication.Write comprehensive unit tests, conduct integration testing, and participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and maintainability.Deploy applications to cloud environments, monitor their performance, and troubleshoot issues proactively using CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes.
