Position: Senior Java Developer
Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 9- 12 Years
Key Responsibilities:
Develop secure and enterprise-standard REST APIs and integrations.Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices.Design and optimize MongoDB schemas, indexes, and queries.Develop and optimize SQL queries for transactional and reporting requirements.Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and resiliency.Participate in code reviews, unit testing, defect resolution, and production support.Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams.Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production troubleshooting.Follow secure coding, engineering, and compliance standards.
Key Technical Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.Strong expertise in Microservices architecture, service decomposition, API contracts, and RESTful APIs.Experience with Kafka producers, consumers, partitioning, and messaging patterns.Strong MongoDB skills including document modeling, indexing, aggregation, CRUD, and performance tuning.Experience with SQL queries for transactional and reporting use cases.Hands-on experience with OpenShift and/or AWS.Knowledge of Open API/Swagger, JSON, resiliency, logging, monitoring, and exception-handling patterns.
